A SPEAK EASY INSTITUTION

MAISON DE ROUSEE was inspired by The famous 1920's Red Head Speak Easy on 6th Ave, in NYC. It became a favorite drinking spot made famous by F. Scott Fitzgerald, one of the club’s regulars, in his book of short stories, "ales of the Jazz Age,” Red Head's was known as a Tea House as they disguised their alcohol in tea cups.
